چکیده
To accomplish complex tasks, several nano-machines may need to communicate via multiple-access channel with one access point, where information fusion is carried out. However, diffusive molecular communications (DMC) systems suffer from severe interference (MAI) and intersymbol (ISI), which should be effectively mitigated at receiver in order achieve acceptable performance. Built on two fundamental single-user detection schemes, namely, threshold-assisted majority vote (TMVD) equal gain combination (EGCD), we first propose three low-complexity cancelation are the TMVD-assisted iterative (TMVD-IIC), TMVD-based minimum-distance decoding-assisted (TMVD-MDDIC) EGCD-assisted $N$ -order (EGCD-NIIC), for operation molecular-type spread-assisted shift keying (MTS-MoSK) DMC systems. Then, following principle of maximum likelihood (ML) detection, a simplified approximate ML (SAML) scheme. The error performance MTS-MoSK employing, respectively, considered schemes comprehensively investigated compared. Furthermore, complexities analyzed discussed terms complexity-performance tradeoff. Our studies results show that, compared TMVD EGCD proposed capable mitigating efficiently effect MAI enabling significant improvement slightly increased complexity.

Non-Coherent Detection for Diffusive Molecular Communications
We study non-coherent detection schemes for molecular communication (MC) systems that do not require knowledge of the channel state information (CSI). In particular, we first derive the optimal maximum likelihood (ML) multiple-symbol (MS) detector for MC systems. As a special case of the optimal MS detector, we show that the optimal ML symbol-by-symbol (SS) detector can be equivalently written ...
متن کاملDiffusive Molecular Communications with Reactive Signaling
This paper focuses on molecular communication (MC) systems where the signaling molecules may participate in a reversible bimolecular reaction in the channel. The motivation for studying these MC systems is that they can realize the concept of constructive and destructive signal superposition, which leads to favorable properties such as inter-symbol interference (ISI) reduction and avoiding envi...
متن کاملAdaptive Signal Detection in Auto-Regressive Interference with Gaussian Spectrum
A detector for the case of a radar target with known Doppler and unknown complex amplitude in complex Gaussian noise with unknown parameters has been derived. The detector assumes that the noise is an Auto-Regressive (AR) process with Gaussian autocorrelation function which is a suitable model for ground clutter in most scenarios involving airborne radars. The detector estimates the unknown...
متن کاملEffective inter-symbol interference mitigation with a limited amount of enzymes in molecular communications
In molecular communication via diffusion (MCvD), the inter-symbol interference (ISI) is a well known severe problem that deteriorates both data rates and link reliability. ISI mainly occurs due to the slow and highly random propagation of the messenger molecules, which causes the emitted molecules from the previous symbols to interfere with molecules from the current symbol. An effective way to...
